What happens after you die?

What happens after you die? That is a BIG question that a lot of people ask them selves again and again in their busy lives. If you don't know what happens and don't even have an idea, start asking questions!! People are not disobeying God just because they wonder and ask questions. I had to go looking for that answer too. I don't come from a family that goes to church every Sunday and has their whole life circled around God. No, but I go to church, I circle my life around God. And i'm not this perfect christian girl that never swears, never talks behind peoples backs, and never lies. No I am, everybody has a little bad blood its just part of who we are. Can we change that? Of course! Do we try as much as we could? Nope!
But back to looking for answers, I found that we have this huge cycle that once we die (If we are christian) we go to heaven if Jesus didn't come back yet. And once he does when we are in heaven all of the Christians in the world will be lifted up to heaven and all the  non believers start this terrible wave of unfortunate events to say the least. And the people in heaven stay there until this is all over and we will be put back on earth with the people who survived that and then we will be lifted up into the Forever Heaven with unconditional love from God. And the non believers with go to hell with never ending suffering.

Cold, no school day!

Monday's are usually the worst day of the week, but not today. Today all schools had off because of the cold. In Wisconsin it was -15 and the windchill was -25! So, no school!!! That will follow through into tomorrow. It will not be any warmer tomorrow. Unfortunately we don't get to go play outside because if we do then we might get frost bite. :( Me and my brother Tj are stuck inside all day. But we did go to one place and that place is where I got the awesome news that I was jetting my braces off! That was my last app. before I got them off so mark you're calender February 29th Shelby Langer is getting her braces off!! yayyy!!!!!!
My family is doing the competition this year about who can lose the most weight, not that any of us are fat we just decided everyone's new years resolution was to lose weight so why not make it a competition? We have like 10 people in all doing it and everyone is putting $100 dollars in the pot and who ever loses the most percentage gets $1000 dollars.

Always remember Pray to god, love God, and worship God!!

Love always,

Sunday's

Sundays are one of my favorite days of the week I get up in the morning get all fancied up then I get to go to the one place on earth that I can really be who I love to be, and that is a child of the Lord. Even though I am always his child I really feel connected with him when I am in his house, learning about him and praising him. He is the only God. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Rev. 19:16. Today at the Loft at Spring Creek Church in Pewaukee Wisconsin, we talked about the book of Isaiah and that it is the mini bible because Isaiah has 66 chapters and the bible has 66 books! Isn't that amazing?! In Isaiah there is one part that says the same exact thing in Rev. 4:8 "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." Isaiah 6:3. It repeats again in Rev. 4:8 but the authors were thousands of years apart but still wrote the same thing. That"s how powerful and amazing it is.My youth Pastor Casey S. always writes these amazing notes for the middle school and high school youth groups and this week he put in 3 key verses that I thought I might share with you guys. The first one is Isaiah 7:14, " Therefore the LORD himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." Back then, like now people didn't believe that Jesus was sent here from God, there is the biggest sign right there in the scripture that says that he is from God! The second verse in the notes is Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Another sign right there. And the last verse is Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punished that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." AMEN!! Those were some good verses! I just wanted to thank God for one more day on this beautiful earth and that we do not deserve life and forgiveness for our sins we deserve death but yet he lets us live. Thanks God! And thak you guys for reading my blog! :)

Love always -Shelby
